I just bought a nikon monarch 800.  It came with the wronge set of instruction.  I cant figure out how to get the "1st target priority mode" to work.  does anyone know how to activate this feature? I wouldnt think it could be that hard, maybe something is wronge with my rangefinder.

First turn the unit on. Then press and hold the mode button. Now press and hold the power button. You will see the "G" looking symbol in the bottom left. Once you see it there you will be in 1st target priority mode. Repeat this process to get back to distant target priority mode. Hold down the mode button to switch from yards and meters.

You could probably call Nikon to get a set of instructions.
