We'd have mild days, but it would be just one or two days in a row a couple of times a month maybe.

Ten more school bus trips to go and I'm off all afternoons for the rest of the summer!

Morning folks,

Another gorgeous day here in London, sadly the weekend somehow was rather cold and overcast. Seems a little unjust.

Morning Guys!

Well I did a fair amount of yard work Saturday.  I managed to get the front yard trees all trimmed back so I can get under them with the zero turn.  Had a big burn of all last falls and yesterdays trimmings then cut  the yard.  Somewhere during the tree trimming I managed to poke myself in the eye with my own glasses. Embarrassed  I was reaching up to push my glasses back up my nose, when due to the gloves I was wearing ended up shoving the bottom edge of my glasses into my left eye.  I scratched or abraided the cornea outside the iris.  It drove me nuts the rest of the weekend, felt like I had gravel in there....

Luckily I had eye ointment that helped tons.  Sunday was like a miserable London day, foggy all day but Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! Clap

Happy Monday! Ouch

Mornin gents.

Shot a match Saturday morning. Picked up some hitch hikers too, a deer tick and 2 chiggers, and I was wearing treated pants, but the little bitches took advantage of my untreated socks. I did come in 14th out of 60 plus shooters. Overall for the year so far I'm in 4th place, and I made it into A class.

Took Mrs. BF to a cocktail bar and met some friends for drinks and dinner. Had a drink called "The Last Word", probably the last time I'll have The Last Word. Then we went across the street to a desert shop. It was sinful.

To work off the cake, and hangover I had, I washed and waxed the Muskrat, and washed Mrs. BF's car.Was going to wax her car too but she couldn't find her bottle of scratch remover for the scratch from where her car got keyed.
Now G knows what my plans are for last weekend.

Morning folks,

Another gorgeous day here in London. I am counting down the days until Friday. Got what should be a fun day at the range planned.

It really is far too nice to be in the office here...

Morning gents!  It's been London weather since Sunday.  I'm supposed to go Stripper Fishinig on the Chesapeake Bay tomorrow, I hope the weather plays nice...  The fish don't care but it's a lot nicer if all the females aren't constantly zitching..... Confused

BudPerm,

I am envious you are going fishing for Stripers! I was supposed to go a couple of years ago, a friend of mine was organising a trip for Stripers and Turkey but unfortunately he had rather a big set back with the Big C so he’s been laid up for a couple of years.

Tight lines my friend!

Ah good stuff Budperm! I'm thinking of getting a 4x4 that can tow next year, the Subaru is great but something with more offroad ability would be useful at times

Nice weather here too.

Hey Bud, when I went stripper fishing, it was usually around 7th St and Berry Blvd. My favorite was the Kitten House on Taylor Blvd.; it was on my beatEmbarrassed

Morning folks,

What's the best bait for strippers? Is it a single 50 or is it 5 five 10s on a hook?

We've had some rain here with has cleared the air of pollen and dust which is rather welcome.

H-Day and I can't wait to get to the weekend for some plinking!

Scrummy

5 straight days of rain here and it will continue the rest of the week. My grass still hasn't been mowed in more than a week now. I'm going to need a damn bush hog to get it done if it ever stays dry enough to begin with.....
