REALLY! You had to ask? As soon as Ed moved to Texas he started pinning for New Mexico, and posting pictures of everywhere he had been. Which, as we all know, is EVERYWHERE. |

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

I have never been to: Carlsbad, Artesia, Roswell, Lovington, Clovis, Los Alamos, Reserve, Mosquero, and the Boot Heel....I 'been' everywhere else. |

I "been" to Farmington, Hobbs, Socorro, and Reserve. Goin' back to Reserve in September for a big bull elk, hopefully. Beautiful out there.

I stopped in a "store" I guess you'd call it in Hobbs once. There was a post card that said...
Hobbs, NM...50 miles from water and 2 miles from hell.

My buddy and I had breakfast and brushed our teeth in Portales back in '79. We had 'camped out' in our cars along the grassy shoulder of the road south of Portales the night before. We had drunk a lot of beer that day on our drive over from San Angelo. We left Portales and went directly to Fort Sumner to see Billy the Kid's grave, then on to Las Vegas. We were on our way to Wyoming. We eventually actually made it. |

When you put her on the train, did you tell her not to come back? |
