It's the South! It's hotter than a four barrel mini-bike all summer! Only difference is it 99% humidity or just plain raining! 😂😂😂

Mornin comradesCoffee

It's hot this A.M.. It's going to get hotter today, and the humidity is just drenching. AC is good.

Went to a Mustang club meeting last night. It was at the largest Ford dealer in Ky.. They had 2 2016 GT350 Cobras and a 2016 GT350RLove at the dealer. That made the trip worth it. Don't think I'll be joining the club. I'd be the youngest member there since the friend I went with doesn't want to join either.Mustang

Mornin' Gents.  Forecast is for 99* here today.  Can't complain, though, as we've only had a couple of days top 100* so far and we're almost halfway through July.

Well BF,  I'm keeping the cobra.  Decided it'll do nothing but appreciate and I can enjoy and do to it tasteful mods to keep it somewhat original so it maintains that value.

I think that's a good decision G.

I was kidding with my friend last night, making him think I was seriously thinking about buying one of the GT350s. He said I could sell some guns and pay cash for it. I said I never sell something that appreciates to buy something that depreciates. He said yeah, but that GT350 will probably appreciate in value................ I had to think about that for a few minutes, but the driveway and lack of a garage brought things back to reality. For a minute, I could see myself driving that race red GT350 around the Corvette track in Bowling Green, Ky.

Morning gang, yesterday was a day spent in the depths of hell....

The fires started maybe 10 minutes after arriving and lasted all day.  I had to sneak out after a 10 hour day to get home in time to babysit the grandkids.  Seems one of our main vendors changed a part to a cheaper (inferior) part without approval.
140,000 units later we caught the problem.  it's been a mad scramble to determine the level of risk and impact to everything so everybody from the VP of Electroincs on down was playing headless chicken yesterday....  What fun!  Loco

No more likely the higher ups will require a KICK payback from the vendor that the company will not see. Corporate greed wins again at the expense of the company's reputation.  It will be left up to you to come up with a Scenario that will place the failure back as the customer's fault.
Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

last time this happened they quarantined the assemblies then later, in small batches released them into production mixed with good units.....

Same thing will probably happen again....  Right now where trying to determine the failure rate of the inferior parts.  if low enough they will be diluted into production with better parts.  otherwise a recall will be in order and the vendor will be forced to eat the cost....

Weather report is same as yesterday, except it just poured down rain on me as I got to work and had to clock in. So far I've been called a wet rat, and a wet backBandito
