Yep, it's proving to be a rough week, and the "white flakes of death" haven't even started falling yet. Stay tuned.

Mornin' Gents.  Back on schedule.  Got to the office before 7, which is normal gives me some peace before the rifraff arrives.

Mornin' all, from beautiful downtown Raleigh. Actually the Embassy Suites in Crabtree Valley.

Cold here and snow is predicted for the weekend. The locals are scared to death.

Sorry to hear that Scrummy, at least you weren't working.

Well it's started. The "white flakes of death" are descending upon the city as I type. It started just 30 minutes ago. The city is in a panic as they are expecting up to 3 inches of the white murderous intruders to fall upon the surfaces of the city, causing mass chaos and mayhem. Schools have been closed, and store shelves are already empty of bread, and milk. Toilet paper is already in short supply. I expect the Mayor of the City to soon plead with the Governor to activate the National Guard until the crises is over.

Yep, it's been a rough week so far.

Don't laugh Skip. You might hurt yourself.

It's supposed to start with the white stuff about 5pm this evening here and continue till 5am tomorrow....  I guess I better stop procrastinating and move the snowblower from the back of the shed to the garage....

We will gladly accept any form of precipitation. We ended the year at 19" below normal last year. What fell was in the spring. Even a wet fart could help. Wink

The forecast here is snow from 7 tonite till 7 tomorrow nite..

The folks here at the Embassy Suites say the town will be paralyzed. Might kill the show tomorrow.

I''m supposed to fly out at noon Sunday pray for me.😂

18* here, going to 22*. We had to dig out from under 2 to 3 inches of snow. The road sides are littered with wrecked cars. People will wreck at just the sight of snow.

Peddler, I'm telling you, NC ain't snow country or prepared for it.  It will shut down a town even as big as Raleigh.   RDU should stay open though unless it gets to be worse than they predict.  If you get stuck and need a place to crash let me know, I can come up and get you. Myrtle Beach Airport should be open if RDU is closed.

Mornin' all, got home last nite pure luck.

G, thanks for the offer. My Sunday flight was cancelled on Saturday afternoon and the earliest flight I could change to was Monday nite at 8:30. To me that wasn't even an option. One of our guys drove down from Philly to work the show so we left Sunday at 8:00 and he dropped me off at BWI and I caught the 3:30 flight home.

Morning from cold FL. We had a frost Sat nite/Sun am. Nothing last night, but today's high is only 65*. After that, we will return to normal with upper 70's and low 80's by Thursday and Friday. Yeah!
