Getting very dry here. 15% humidity or lower today. Add in 30 mph winds = high fire danger.

Mornin comradesCoffee

Rained here yesterday evening. Dropped the temp.s and cleared the skies. Might even drop below freezing this weekend.

Lile, didn't you just have a bunch of rain?

Nope! That was western Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle. Pond is down 15". Leaves are dropping from the trees still green from lack of water.

Mornin' Gents.  Dry here as well.  Need rain badly in North Texas.

Good. Bring on the frost and/or flurries. We'll be up in early Nov. for crossbow then hand out for a little gun action....probably.

It's cool if not down right nippy.  Especially since I've lost 50# since last winter!
We got those 3-4 days of rain when the hurricane/tropical storm ran up the east coast and I'm amazed at how soft the ground is!!! It's like spring thaw.  My zero turn was tearing up the grass....

possible 30s this weekend!!!! Loco

Up until about 3 months ago I only found it.  After peaking at 320 I had enough...
Problem was I was ALWAYS hungry and always eating....

Now I've found a sweet spot that if I can refrain from over eating 20 minutes I'm fine.  It never worked before cause I've found I have to stop way short of what I used to consider a reasonable portion and tuff it out till brain and stomach sync up.  The secret for me is to never distend my stomach.  Over eat once and distend it and I'm hungry from then on....and miserable!

I'm totally into it now and just fighting life long habits....  oh what fun!
Got my sites on losing 100+ and already half way there!

That's awesome, Bud.  After being diagnosed with arthritis in my knees at age 43 I'm committed to getting back down to around 215, which is probably about right for me.  I peaked at 265 and I'm down to 245, so I'm 2/5ths of the way there.  Hang in there.

Thanks Guys.  Weight as always been a battle for me!!!!  I'm 6'2" and @ 320 I looked like Jackie Gleason....

Keep up the good work Deck!  As active as you appear to be, I don't know how you got to 265....

Most folks don't think I weigh even close to that.  You can pack a lot of pounds on when you have a 50" chest and a 38" waist.  Even now at 245, one of the paralegals today asked if I was down to 200 yet.

...plus, I'm not fat, "I'm big boned."

Ummmm DECK, bones aren't supposed to sag.... Cool

But I agree, from your pictures you definitely are a large framed person and you keep a higher percentage of your body mass as muscle than I, so you don't look nearly as heavy.  Being tall helps Smile

Unfortunate, but true, Bud.  Bones do not sag.

Mornin comradesHowdy

Great job Bud. I know exactly what you are saying about portions and 20 minutes. Mrs. BF has been dieting, and doing a great job. Portion control and exercise have been the main keys to her success. She says she feels better and it has helped with her health issues. I know what you mean about the portion control too. If I stick to it I can loose the weight, but I have trouble sticking to it too. I'm getting better with sticking to the exercise as long as my feet and back cooperate. If I was as committed as Bud, my progress would be faster.
Once again. Great job BudExcellent You inspire me.
