Mornin gents.

Mrs. BF was nice enough to let me take her car to work while she takes my truck to Tire Discounters for a new set of shoes. Nothing fancy; just your everyday Michilen all season high heel tires.

Overcast with a 50% chance of rain, and temps starting in low 70s and going to upper 80s with high humidity. Guess it's my turn in the rain barrel.

Sounds like a fun revolver, especially for revolver matches. I have to know though, what kind of mood those clips are in, and does their mood ever change? That could make a big difference in how you do in a match.
I mean, if the clip is in a bad mood, it may not let you close the cylinder after a reload, or what if it feels fat, it might not let you drop the rounds in the cylinder.

yeah I read about those canted barrels in the early productions 3_tens...... hoping to test fire it this weekend to ensure im good to go.  I called S&W with the # and they said it was a more recent production than the batch they had issues with.

Moon clips..... no mood clips....Ouch

Mornin gents.

The truck has new shoes, and I got to try out their performance on wet roads on the way to work this AM. So far, so good.

It's been raining buckets since yesterday evening. I left for work extra early and was still late because of traffic. The way traffic was moving, you'd think we were having a blizzard. Made me glad I have less than 4 months to put up with that crap.

It's overcast, raining going to raining buckets with more rain, and temps in the 70s and going to the 80s.....maybe.

The driveway is surviving all this rain for now. It is raining buckets you know.

Did I mention that it is raining buckets? I think we're trying to catch up with Bud, Skip, and G in 2 days on the rain gauge.

Bud, the nice thing about the Sig P320, is you can buy one pistol for the fire control unit (FCU) then buy different grips, slides and barrels, and magazines and have everything from a full size to sub compact in 9mm and/or 40S&W. So go ahead and take the dive. It's only money and you can make moreEvil Smile

Well they blew up the plastics industry eliminating BPAs at quite the cost up.....

It's only a matter of time before they fabricate another excuse to stair step up the prices for rubber too.
I'm sure they can find some carcinogen they need to band to cause it.....

I've started planning in the same direction (retirement).  First blackeye was finding out my time is 66yr 8 months not 65 as I thought...

All I've succeeded in doing so far is elevate my blood pressure worrying about my 401Ks....

Mornin gents.

Mostly cloudy to overcast with big chance of rain. High humidity, mid 70s going to mid 80s with variable winds.

Still on track to being retired on 12-1-18.
The Governor has submitted the appeal on the pension law to the State Supreme Court, bypassing the Appeals Court, but the case hasn't been heard yet.
Doesn't really matter to me anymore. Leaving at the end of the year only means $5.00 more a month, and staying till next year doesn't mean enough to stay another winter, and they are going to eliminate my current job, which means I'll have to start riding the ramp again. Not that that is bad duty, but I don't want to dodge airplanes anymore. Last time I drove across the ramp, I drove in front of 2 moving aircraft. They weren't close, but it's still a bad thing. It's just time to go.
