yeah there are somethings I know will not last more than a day when they pop up.

Anything Vortex doesnt last more than a couple hours.
Any Zeiss conquest 3x9's or any Conquest with the rapid Z reticles go super fast
several other things go quick but these are the ones I watch the most

Every office has them. its that one person that never does anything they are suppose to. They complain all the time that they do more work than others when the numbers don't support it, get headaches and can't help a member for hours, call in sick when they go out the night before and have been drinking (facebook pictures doen't lie) and talk about you to others to try to make themselves look better......

We have the most turnover at this branch that I work at than any other branch in the district.  This is on the teller line though not the member services side.  Since I've started almost 3 years ago there have been more than 25 come and go on that side the room, I quit learning new peoples names until they've been here for a few months. Easier that way.

Are the tellers full time? I'd imagine they would be but damn that's pretty bad.

I have a completely different work personality than i do elsewhere.  I do not fratinize with other employees at all.  Work is work and should stay that way.  We have employees that go out together to bars and stuff, play golf, all kinds of stuff.  It just makes for problems down the road.  If you don't have connections you don't go down if one end of it sinks.  To much has happened wih he said she said round here to risk it.  before i started there was a huge issue with employees that where dating and some thought to be skimming but they couldn't prove it.

they are but we have kinda strict guidelines about how much money you can be "out" and how often.  We loose a lot that way.  they dont' pay attention and give a member an extra bill or something while they are talking back and forth to another teller and it happens. Then they are bye bye

Amen to that. And i could care less that it won't likely earn me brownie points in the office politics. I know i'm good at my job and my bosses know that. That's all i care about.

I let my numbers speak for me.  not once has a raise oportunity came up that i haven't gotten the max percentage availible.  We don't work on commission or anything like that be we are expected, not required, to turn out certain numbers of loans, and account help.

I hope we're getting raises this year....the transportation industry slowed incredibly last year and things were looking pretty bad. 2 layoff cycles and a week without pay. But we changed some things up and are ahead of schedule on meeting our EBITDA and actually looking like we'll exceed it in the 3rd quarter. Our bosses are saying we will double bonus and possibly get the weeks pay back. I'll take that in a heartbeat at the end of the year if true.

Under contract and we close next month. Got a 4.785% 30 year fixed rate. Really made out well. Move in ready, not a lot to fix up. Got a finished basement, just under an acre. Pretty excited to get that part of our lives started.
