The uncle that i was staying with down there had a room devoted to it.  He had over 4 garbage bags full of the purple bags.  All his drinks normally have crown in them.

The Moss 500 will work fine.  Used one for many years.  If they are planted birds that you have to about kick to get them to fly, use the improved cylinder.  If they are somewhat wild, use the Modified.  Only time I use full is end of season when they jump at 30 yards.  Then it is like shooting handicap trap.

I like 5 shot.  More pellets then 4 shot but heavier than 6.  4, 5, or 6 is fine of pheasants.

If you go just south of the town, you'll see Book road, that is where the preserve is. Hyd-a-del is the name of it. There is a small hotel in town (Blain hotel) that most of the hunters from out of town stay in. It's way out in the country so the nearest hotels are probably a good hour a way in Carlisle, so you'd probably not want to drive that much to and from where you're staying.

Only 1219 miles away.

I'll tell you what, i think it would be hard for any place out here to compete with the bird hunting you guys have out in the Dakotas. It's very nice here but that would be one place i'd love to go, 1 time, before i die to hunt pheasants.
