Been busy this AM, troops going to Astan.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

No worries, many pictures are blocked here at work as well. This month has been unusually busy in the transportation game. We generally are slow until September but we're steaming ahead. Hopefully it translates into bonuses!

Paul what upper did you get from BCM ?

We have to get a minium barrel length of 16" right?
I was surprised to see teh BCG is separate from the upper.

I was going to order the Spike tactical Lower w/ M4 stock for $275 then save for a BCM but now I'm rethinking it!

I'm leaning toward the mid length one over teh carbine right now too.

I can imagine. Anytime you take a stretch that long off, you know you'll be coming into a sh*tstorm. Yesterday, i had to step out for a few breathers. It's a fast paced job and when you have more freight than trucks, it can make for a tough go of it.

You absolutely want a mid length system of a carbine imo. Carbine is harder on the internals and you'll end up needing to replace or use heavier o rings...at least i would upgrade if using a carbine system. Buffer could come into play if you plan on blowing through a lot of rounds.

The BCM BCG does come separate, but it is WELL worth it. I know you can go cheaper but you can also go a lot pricier. LOTS of people swap out their companies BCG's with BCM due to the quality make. If you do a google search for BCM vs Colt or just about any maker you'll find dozens of polls and really good input on why Bravo Company is so well liked. They don't cost near as much as Colt, Wilson Combat, etc but put out just as good or better product. Remember that chart. BCM is the ONLY company that tests every component of their rifle, A-Z.

I know i'm really pushing them, but like SWFA or Vortex, you will never have a bad experience with them and they put out tremendous products.

Oh, i have the 16" Mid length uppper with Daniel Defense OmegaX 9" free float on my upper.
