Been to Yellowstone (and surrounding areas) a few times and actually worked there one summer years ago. Visiting the park should be on everyone's bucket list. Thunbs Up

Here ya go bud.  Cheap.  The tubing for mine is shot and the tubing cost as much as a new one.  Order this and your peep rotation problems are gone.

You should probably start a list for when you come up so you don't forget several things.  Bring your old peep or at least a piece of the tubing.  I have several sizes of silicon tubing that is just as stretchable and lasts several times longer than gum rubber tubing.  Gum rubber tubing dry rots in 2-3 years, silicon 10 to 15 years!

Yeah I want to make that trip!  Mike Meckley has made several.  I might try to tag along on one.  He was talking to a Ranger and there are severa lfishing sopts.  Cutthroat are catch and release only but he said there are invasive species you can keep!

I was thinking of hitting Gander Mountain tomorrow, They have the RAD MAXIM peep in stock and it's similar.  I was talking about replacing your Gum Rubber tube with Silicon tube for ya!  Or at least get you some Silicon tubing for when your deteriorates.

Yes the Elk are wild, they moved into a small Village called Mammoth Springs, It was established in the mid 1800's when Yellowstone was declared a Park. The military (calvary) had to move in and build this place as a base in order to protect the rest of the Park. No one bothers these Elk so they feel safe there, if you move into there comfort zone (approx 25 yards) the Elk will charge, especially the Bulls or Cows with Calves.....One needs to stay back at least 100 yards from the Bison, they become very aggressive, worse than any Brown Bear.

Hey Grahamster!

Check it out!  My daughter came home while I was mounting the scope and thought it was the coolest gun she's ever seen!  (she hasn't seen many)  She never showed any interest in them before so I asked her if she was interested in going to the range with me!  She said YES much to my surprise!

I mounted the BSA Sweet 223 on it cause I didn't want to take my 4200 off the 300WM.  If it kills the 223 no biggy.  I figure the BSA might have a better chance of survival than the Crossfire.  We shall see!

since im sorta in "super dick" mode, jellystone park as we called it in wyoming where i grew up is gay. what a waste, the govt as usual ruins a good thing. most people wont even ride snowmobiles in the park any more because of all the rules. pretty soon the elk and the buffalo will get taxed for farting.

there are some pretty cool things to see there, but the govt ruins it for me.

You taking tomorrow off?

Yeah I am taking tomorrow off.  My left foot is quite swollen from an attack of Gout.  Last two days I wore a loose sock and slipper to work.  By the time I got home today I had trouble getting both the slipper and sock off!
Tomorrow is our groups 2nd annual picnic.  B&D used to cater a huge annual facility wide Product Awareness Day.  They'd bring in Matt Kenseth and one or two of his race cars and you could get your pictures taken with him, get his autograph, even sit in the race car.  Now each business group does their own thing.
Tomorrow we have a continental breakfast and meeting at the Towson Sheraton, then a nice picnic at a local park.  I can't handle all the walking right now with my foot so I'm taking off and going shooting.
