"Another Roadside Attraction" is the title of a great Tom Robbins novel and the theme for this months photo contest.  Any subject matter from the road - a Paul Bunyon statue, the biggest [fill in the blank] in the world, or gorgeous autumn colors somewhere along the road.  Since everyone has a roadway nearby, there is no excuse for not submitting an entry this month. Just be safe taking those pictures - don't want anyone to to wind up as roadkill.

Post your entries in this thread, making certain they comply with the Photo Contest Rules:

The last day for posting an entry is Oct 31st @ 11:59pm.

I found this roadside attraction on the off ramp of I70 near my home.  They just painted the lines a couple weeks back.

There is a story that a few weeks back some folks from Cali stopped at the underpass right by the exit to sit in the shade for a bit.  They have a cat with them that they paid over $1000 for.  It ran off and they never found it.  Makes one wonder if this is the $1000 cat.

That striped cat photo would’ve worked for a Halloween themed contest too.

Been searching for something cool to share, but I have been unable to find anything until today.
Met up with Taya and took a photo of her pickup and trailer.

She was at a local pumpkin patch, selling products to help raise money for Chris' foundation. Love the Kyle family.

When I was a kid, I remember riding by junkyards and gas stations that put old cars or trucks high on stilts.  Seemed like they competed to see who could get a junk vehicle the highest in the air.  I haven't seen that anywhere in a long time but I was working in the Bitterroot Valley yesterday and spotted this one near Stevensville.  Also, possibly of interest for a shooting forum, the building across the road on the left side of the photo is the front office for Cooper Firearms.  As Ferris Bueller would say "if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

Not an entry...........Been trying to catch traffic light enough to get a still shot of Paul. Couldn't be done. This is traveling 75mph in heavy traffic with a jerk trying to stall the left lane. I am surprised I even got ole Paul in the shot. Oh well! maybe next time...........

Hey Jason, you won the photo contest. Do you have a theme for November?
