Very interesting... I hope it passes! As usual from the comments, Hollywood has given people an unrealistic impression of supressor (or "silencer") sound level.

Georgia is closer to passing this law. I know Indiana has had this bill introduced, but much of our session has been spent on Right to Work. I could see it next years session.

You mean ya'll don't already use suppressors for hunting now?!?!? In TEXAS?!?!?
If it won't pass there, I doubt it will pass any where else.

Montana had a similar bill fail in the last legislative session. Too bad. Some excellent suppressors are being made in MT:

Pity it didn't pass up here. I was hoping it would. Need to keep pushing for it. Hope it passed in Texas.

We can for non game animals (predators, feral hogs, etc... with Class III license, of course), but not for game animals like deer. This proposed law is evidently aimed at extending suppressor use to game animals as well. |

We can hunting anything we want in Utah with a supressor. Gotta love our proper gun laws.
