FWIW I think a trickler is a must for good accurate loads.  Just MHO.

I have been using the old "crack head" method of on a small tray with a razor blade to trickle  so its in the near future.

FWIW, the Redding trickler is heavy in weight so it doesn't move around while you're trickling powder in the pan on a digital scale like the others do. They move around cause they are very light in weight, usually made from aluminum. The Redding unit is cast from some type of steel and works much better.

Why not step up to powered dispenser, either from Pact, RCBS or Lyman?

RCBS powered dispenser was the best thing I've purshased in quite a while. Really works great, but while you're looking at powders, have you tried the Ramshot powders? Big Game works well for me in a .300WSM. The other one for big cartridges I think is called Hunter. Prices are good on it too.

That automated trickler still requires a digital scale that it can talk to toaccurately dispense so you might as well bite the bullet and gete a matched set (auto dispenser and scale) like the RCBS. Think its on sale at midway right now

I went from a Lee to a Harrells custom 90 Culver and never looked back. Should have made the jump years ago. Throws spherical or large stick equally well. I spend a lot less time trickling nowWhistling
