I was in need of a few scopes for some 22cal rifles. I am not going to spend 200 or 300 hundred dollars each on these rifles for scopes as they don't get used a few times a year and I am a working class guy. I however do have many fine higher end scopes like leupolds, Zeiss, and a few others so I like something built well. I was looking for something in the $100-$150 range in a low power or even a fixed 4x or 6x that is no a peice of junk. I would like it to hold impact and give aleast average low light performance. Is there anything out there that meets these findings?  I don't expect to  compare to a leupold or Zeiss but be nice for the money it cost. Thanks for any help!!

I have a weaver 2-7 rimfire... I am very happy with that, I think it is around $100.

Weaver Classic scopes are probably your best bet (many people will recommend SImmons, but I think Weavers are built better).  2.5-7x28 and 4x28 rimfire scopes are good.  Also you can go for a K4 or K6 scope.  Rimfire scopes will have aprallax set at about 50 yds for 22LR shooting.

For what you are wanting for the price, I say go with the Weaver K4 or K6.  I have seen these scopes last forever.

The http://www.riflescopes.com/departments/251/rifle_scopes/simmons/simmons_proair.htm - Simmons Pro-Air line are really nice on rimfires.  They have 1/8 moa target knobs, matte finish and adjustable objectives.
