Hello,

Which flip ups would fit a Bushnell Elite 4200 6x24x40 ?

Thanks in advance!

11 eye and a 33 obj

Thanks Brady :)

Do you know if I would still be able to use low Talley QD or standard 1" rings with these on a Cooper 57M or would I need to go up to the medium rings?

Posted By: Brady
Date Posted: December/30/2004 at 08:07

I would opt for the mediums. The Butler creek will add just enough thickness to bump it up to mediums.

Although we no longer sell Nightforce anymore I believe the correct sizes are 18 eye and 51 obj. You may want to call around to some Nightforce dealers to make sure.

Brady,

What flip ups fit an IOR 10X56 tactical? Also, do you sell any sun shades or ARD's for the scope.

Thanks,

David

20 eye and 48 obj on the IOR tactical.

Tenebraex makes ARD's that work in conjunction with the butler creek flip ups. You can get a http://www.riflescopes.com/products/SUNGUARD6/tenebraex_6_anti-reflection_device.htm - #6 tenebraex then put it in between the flip, and the scope.

#34 is WAY too big for the sunshade. The sunshade for this scope is smaller in diameter than the objective bell. Is there a second choice?

This past year Nikon put a taper on their objectives making it take a 29 obj. The older models had a straight non tapered objective where a 28 would work. A 28 will work on the newer ones you just have to cram it on. So if you have the older model get the 28. If you have the newer on get the 29.

SS 10x42 Rear Focus

Which Objective cover will fit on the Eyepiece?

I know what you're thinking - who is this idiot?  I'll explain....

On a Savage 10FLP (left handed), SS10x42, Millet Tactical Medium Height,  factory bolt handle, the back of my left thumb hits the back of the BC eyepiece flip cover's thumb release hard enough to pop the cover off.  The only solution that I can think of until I get a longer bolt handle is to put an objective cover on the eyepiece.

thanks
