Ok guys and gals. I have about a seven year old pair of 10x42 kahles binocs that are in 10 outa 10 condition. My question is, would it make any sense to sell them and purchase a pair of vortex razor hd's. Would the new razors be optically better, or would it just be a lateral movement, or worse yet be moving backwards. Thanks for the help

I'm guessing lateral at best.  I've looked through the Vortex Razor HD's and the Zeiss Conquest HD and I thought the Conquests were as just as good (I thought a little brighter) and they are cheaper. Also the Meopta HD's have been getting great reviews here. Unfortunately I have had the oportunity to compare Kalhles

Yeah, I am actually thinking about the new cabelas euro hd's. I have a cabelas gift card I need to use, and these binocs are supposed to be the exact same as the meopta hd's. I am now leaning towards these. I will probably just keep the kahles for my truck if I cant sell them.

The Euro HDs were nice binos but extremely heavy for me. It's like they were made from cast iron!
