I bet that took awhile!

I am hunting turkey this year with a bow, little more challenge.

Me 3, Hope to go next week and set a couple blinds so by openin day they'll think nothing of it. Went crow huntin this morning and had to all but stop for a tom to cross the road. 8 or 9" beard, a shooter for sure. Not too far from one of my future blind sets. Hunted that spot last yr but waited too close to season to set the blind. They were way spooky around it so I went else where.

Only if you have a source to import!! Maybe bugsNbows can round up a couple. If you can slip a quart to one of the C-130 pilots headin that way he might drop em off for ya. Better try to get 4 to make sure a couple survive the combat landings!!

Yea, we only have Easterns here.  However, my favorites are Merriam's… most beautiful of the turkey "kinds" by far.

I will have to respectfully disagree.

Rio's are the best and most beautiful to me.

To each his own… I find the Rios pretty bland compared to Merriam's.  Rios are not very colorful, rather bland in color.

Merriam's:

Rio Grande:

The girl is better looking, but the turkey isn't...
