Does anyone have experience with the SWFA trade-in program? Do they give you a reasonable amount for quality gear?

I've traded many things over the years, and have generally been pleased with what they offered on my optics.
I have sold some to individuals for more than SWFA offered me, but that was on rare occasion.

Thanks for the info rancid, it's good to hear. Have you found that they are more likely to give you more for your equipment if you are trading for swfa products? I'm considering trading my ss 1-4 hd t reticle for a 1-6 ss hd.

I too have utilized the trade-in program. Whatever they offer, you certainly have the right to accept or refuse. They have been fair with me.

I had a lnib SWFA scope and they offered half of purchase price for a scope they would have probably sold as a demo A product as it was perfect.  They wanted to be in my scope for $150 so they could sell it for $260.  I see that as an unacceptable markup espcecially when I was wanting a scope on the scopelist in trade.  Needless to say it was a no way deal on my part.  Seriously doubt I will ever again entertain another trade with them.

You gotta realize they canโ€™t pay your more or even as much as it costs them to get a new scope. Also They have to spend time to evaluate it, take pictures of it, load it on the web etc. that all takes time and costs money. They have to make enough profit on it to make it worth their while
