What are the differences between Mil-quad and Mil-dot reticles? Is there any online reference that covers both of these reticles in some depth?

Go to tactical scopes page two of the sticky on the 5-20 SS has the card that comes with the 5-20HD with the Mil-Quad reticle.

Subtensions differ, but same concert and usage. Many say it is easier to accurately call 1/10rh mils with the quad reticle than with the dot.
