I have an issue with a brand new Nikon scope and I was hoping someone could help me.

I purchased two new P-308 Nikon scopes. On one of them, the elevation turret cap locking screws were stripped and would not tighten down enough to zero the turret.

I contacted Nikon support and they have twice told me I need to send the entire scope back for service. Multiple weeks turnaround.

I really just need a replacement cap and I can put it on. That is the same procedure as zeroing the turret.

I need one for the P-308 scope for a 308 caliber.

Thank you in advice.

Send it back and get a new scope in return. That is the way they do business.
