Hit Africa again this year after my leg healed well enough to go. I wanted to work on finding the little guys of the "Tiny 10" plus whatever else came our way.

I took a Sako A7 in 30-06 SPRG with a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 with BRH Reticle zeroed at 200 yards. Since Sako/Tikka stocks are garbage, I've put a new McMillan on it.

First stop: Port Elizabeth in the East Cape (more precisely - 2 hours north of Sommerset East).
Porcupine
Steenbok
Southern Bush Duiker
Vaal Rhebok
Caracal
Cape Bushbuck
Common Springbok
Black Springbok
Copper Springbok
White Springbok

Second stop: West of Jeffries Bay. Damn, it was cold.
Cape Grysbok
Blue Duiker (Unsuccessful)

Third stop: Zululand in the Natal
Red Duiker
Warthog
Common Reedbuck.

Very nice...all to often we forget about the little ones and only concentrate on the big guys like kudu, eland etc.
The small antelope can be a big challenge.

When you are dead, you don't know you are dead.It is difficult only for others.

It is the same when you are stupid.
