Anyone have a comparrison or know which one may sneak ahead?

Meaning the Vortex Nomad 20-60x60 or Sandpiper 16-45x65

vs.

Bushnell Elite 16-45x60

These are the scopes I am comparing to buy within the next couple of days.  I like the reviews on both but it seems that the Bushnell would hold up better under rugged hunting circumstances and being hauled in a pack.

That being said, what would be the better choice between those three and the Nikon Prostaff 16-45x65 Realtree?

Thanks y'all.

I have a Sandpiper and still consider it the best $300 scope, as reported on this board.

The Bushnell Elite 60 mm i have not seen, but it cannot be competitive with most $300-$400 scopes because of it's roof prism design (straight) which requires serious glass and coatings for a good image. I doubt that Bushnell sells serious glass and coatings for $350.

It looks like the Vortex Sandpiper scopes are no longer available. At the same price (about $320) the Nomad line is available, but these used to be at least $100 less.

I see they are still at competitor, don't know if I'm allowed to post a link here but do a google search for Vortex Sandpiper and it will pop up a link..

There is a Vortex Sandpiper spotter for sale right now in the For Sale section of the forum, for anyone who's interested.  I think he's asking $275.
