only issue I foresee on that ST is the charging handle lifts up and back.  I put my SS1-4 on there with the borbo mount and when charging it  came close to interfering/hitting with the dial on the left side the scope if you try to manipulate to quick you'll hit with your hand. want to try to keep the left side clear of any objects to protect them and my hand when charging.

I actually have 2 HK-91/G3 style rifles.    One is a Springfield SAR-8 Sporter (Receiver from
Greekfactory, Springfield parts, thumbhole stock period import) and a CETME
(Century arms build on original Spanish parts).
The CETME is the ancestor of the G3, built for Spain in the late 50s.

Both of mine have the standard Stanag mounting points on the receiver, which use a claw mount and
raise the scope for pass through for the irons.  There are no bolt catch clearance issues either.
I didn't shoot mine enough to notice scope issues/break the 10x Habicht Nova (samplelist) I put on it.

The sites are a fixed front post and a rotating rear diopter with 4 positions:

1 is a v-notch for CQB,
2-4 are apertures for 200, 300, 400.  Impact is identical for 30M and 200M with 145-150 NATO ball.

I never reloaded or saved brass from those rifles.  I don't think the breech is half as abusive as the
deflector which can noticeably stave in the casing while sending them 5-10 yards forward at a 30
degree angle.  I do not recommend sitting on the right side benches at the range with plywood
separators.

Accuracy will be dependent on how you like the trigger.  This is a 50-60s era battle rifle designed by
Germans so it isnt exactly glass rod territory.  I ended up sending my SAR-8 trigger group to Williams
for modification.  Once to lighten it up, then a second time (like he told me everyone does) to get a
set trigger installed.

10 years ago we were awash in cheap steel and aluminum 20 round magazines for them.
I don't know what prices are now.  You don't need many.  I actually prize the 5 round mag I found
somewhere, the aluminum next and the steelies can always be used as impromptu clubs.

So someone wants a PSG-1?  Well don't expect anything south of 10K unless its beat to crap.
Oh, and also look out for any "PSG-1" on the market with fixed sites.  That is a SR-9/9T/9TC.
It was also pretty easy to buy PSG-1 parts (stock, grip, trigger) and trick up your 91 a few years ago.
