Sig Kilo series are excellent

Their 4x20 Kilo 850 is a good choice and able to range deer out to 600 yards and more reflective targets beyond that.

I've got an old Nikon Monarch range finder that works well but limited to about 500 yards on reflective targets.  Find myself wanting to range farther.

My wife got me a Kilo2000 for Christmas (from SWFA).  Only played a bit with it, but there is a LOT to like.  Very compact.  Nice glass.  Excellent accuracy, so far.
A wonderful LRF.

The Kilo 2000 is on sale (https://swfa.com/optics/browse/rangefinders/sig-sauer-7x25-kilo2000-laser-rangefinder.html). Yeah, it's still double the price of the 850 but the better the rated range usually the faster at closer distances.
Reaction time is a factor...

Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC. There is a newer DX version but I have the older version. The max I shoot is around 500 yards and it performs admirably. It has ranged deer to 350 -400 yards and 10''  painted steel plates to 475yards.
When in doubt, C4
