I'll put it on the record that i've finally found a pre-fit recoil pad for my Ruger M77 Hawkeye that fits (well almost!). Previously, no one at this stage has made one to fit the Hawkeye except the p.o.s. factory one (Mark II recoils pads are too big due to the Hawkeye having a slimmer stock). The recoil pad is the KickEEZ KZ-118. While the length & width and the hole spacings are correct, the relationship between those two are out by about 5mm so you have to grind with a Dremel one side of the screw holes to get it lined up with the edge of the wood. Also the top left and top right of the pad overhangs the wood by about a 1mm which you could grind back but I left it as is.

UPDATE 23/1/2011: I had the pad on for several months but the darn perfectionist in me removed it cos it wasn't perfect and the factory pad has gone back on and I am now using a detachable pad until such time as someone like Limbsaver or Pacmayr makes one to replace the factory pad...
