Guys.
Need a little guidance. I don't have any experience with the Burris Fastfire, Doctor Red Dot, or the Leupold DeltaPoint. Looking to add one for a little faster pickup over the 4-16 I have mounted on my 6.8 AR. I have the scope mounted in a Burris PEPR 30 mm mount. What red dot would you recommend and what mount. I sort like the GG&G Long rifle mount that attaches to the scope. What do you guys think of this mount or would you suggest something else? Thanks, Tim

I know SWFA is a surefire dealer but I cant seem to find the product on their site but Surefire makes some back up iron sights that lay 45 degrees to the right for a back up system. You have to consider size of the optic because adding too much can get clunky. If you need a back up system of sights it likely needs to be turned on ready to go --- right now ---- like a Trijicon tritium fiber optic sight. So if I wanted to go to a sight like you are considering I would want this or the Surefire iron sights:

Well, its primarily a coyote and deer rifle. Does that change your thoughts any? Ultimately, I've put a scope on it I had. Saving for another scope. Just cannot make up my mind what I want. For sure a 30mm tube but cannot decide what power range I want. Seems something with a little less magnification would be more appropriate but again, cannot decide on it yet. I like the idea of a little more magnification with the a dot sight of some sort on the 45 for a quick shot.
