Need some help guy's. I have an Remington model 721 (1949) long action that I am trying to mount an Weaver V 24 on. Mounting holes are faaar apart. I would like to do a two piece mount if possible but would settle for a full length Weaver/Picatinny. Can you help me out with bases and the proper heighth rings?

Are both mounting holes on top of the receiver, is the rear on the side? I would give Talley or SWFA a quick shout out tomorrow and ask them. http://www.talleymanufacturing.com/cgi-bin/public_controller.cgi?view=contact |

Rifle presently has weaver type bases installed on top of the reciever front and back, there are mounting holes on the side of the reciever for what I would guess would be a reciever sight. Yes, Scope is 6-24x42. Present mounts are too far apart for the length of the scope tube. Thanks man!

Ok, here's what I did! I ordered the EGW one piece pic rail and leo QRW rings (low). Will it work, as far height is concerned? Thanks.
