Hi

I searched but did not find anything.  I have a Mildot Master and would like to know some average dimensions of big-game animals.  I am hunting "either-sex" elk and Doe-deer in Colorado this year.  I expect most shots will be within a 200 yard comfort range for my skill but would like to practice with the mildot master if possible.

I have heard that an elk can be estiamted to have 36 inches height between bottom of stomach and shoulder. Are there any webpages or documents that have measurements such as this?

Thank you
