What are the best options for a quality set of scope rings?  They will be for a Rem 700 short action heavy barrel with picatinny mount.  50mm objective scope.

The last set I bought were Warne and they required a LOT of lapping....I mean a LOT.  Would rather have something a little more precise from the factory.

Thanks for the responses.  Seekins are at the top of my list.  Also looking at Leupold Mark 4, Nightforce, and the Vortex precision rings.

Any other suggestions?

I really like these rings.  Will Seekins fit on the Sako 85 dovetail rail?

No, they are picatinny only. For that you will need to look at leupold or warne.
