This was one of the reasons for one of my post in the rifle room.Is the buyer still covered under the limited lifetime warranty or is the buyer at the mercy of the manu.?I see Leupold and Zeiss(sp?) advertise transferable warrantys. Are there any others that would give less hassle if a scope has problems later on?

A few companies advertise a lifetime transferable warranty. With the exception of Leica we have never had an optic in need of warranty be denied regardless of who owns it or who bought it. |

So what are you saying? Are you saying that Leica has denied to validate their own warranty? Or something along those lines? Thanks for the clarifications. |

Leica is original owner only and they must have received the warranty card with your name on it.
