I'm sure this has been covered before but i have a savage 340 in 30/30 that currently has a weaver 2 piece base with the fixed rings . when i got the rifle it had a junk weaver k4 that i trashed . Now the problem i have i that with the current set up i cant mount anything but an old fixed power weaver back on it . I looked at a b square mount and i really don't wanna have a rail on this old rifle . I plan on putting a 4x32 one it ,  My older friend told me that all i had to do was find a new top base with super tall rings and it would clear the bolt , is there such a beast and if there is what part number would it be

  WELCOME to OT.

The only two mounts I know of are made by Weaver and B-Square.

No place on the top of the receiver at the rear to put a mount.  Mounts are put on the left side.
