I've decided to convert a Stainless 6 1/2 Single Six to something resembling a Single Six Hunter now that VMAX ammo is available in 22 WMR.

For this project I am looking to select a good 2x Handgun Scope and mounts.

My basic requirements are:

1. A good semi-permanent mount system

2. Non-illuminated reticle

3. Good eye relief (I want to be able to hold it at arms length)

I'm rather new to optics so any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

-Bill

went with this same set in their buntline. the best scope mt. set up is the barrel for the sks ya sounds crazy but the barrels are the same size and it is a tension mt. allows lower mt than weavers, and of course 2x leo.

Thunbs%20UpI have the 2x Leo
My .44 loads are stout and never a scope problem on my Redhawk. With the way we sling our hand cannons around that is saying something.
