Hi. It's been a while since I've posted here. I've recently purchased several 'mid level' scopes that have me favorably impressed. Since I now own a large number of scopes, from the lowly NcStar to Leupold LR/T, I can do some comparisons to MY eyes.

I work for a rich buddy who has allowed me to construct 2 private target ranges. Although his property is close to 1000 acres, the terrain only allows for 2 totally safe ranges.
One is 135 yards where I have a huge piece of AR500. We use this mostly for the M107A1 50 cal. There are lots of different targets from 20 yards to 135.  This has multiple shooting benches and just last week, we had a large concrete pad installed.
The other is a 0-200 yard setup with a few shooting benches.

I've been shooting for over 60 years (ex Navy Gunner's Mate). I would love to be able to share the observations of both myself and a couple of co-workers, whom I always get to look through several samples and get their opinion.

My issue is that this 'observation' would be very long and not appropriate here.
Should I put it in a "Word" document and then send it to those that are interested and not bore everyone else?

Here's a teaser...…

Best scope out of > 60? Sightron SIII 6-24X50

Also, I have 2 NEW SWFA 10X42 SF scopes. The turrets have to be the biggest disappointment in years. These are NOT HD models, but brand new, side focus models from 2 different sellers.
I have heard that SS quality has gone downhill, but???

Anyway, let me know if anyone is interested.

Ron, I would suggest you go ahead and copy/paste your comparison here.

If you do not think this will work well, but want to make it public, send me the file and I can post it on my website and link here.

I am kinda curious where you bought your SWFA scopes.  They are only available through one seller: SWFA.  There are a few unscrupulous people out there selling fakes, so I want to make sure that is now what you ended up with.  I sorta track these things and SWFA SS quality has been very consistent for at least as long as I've been paying attention, hence my curiosity.

Burris 3-9x40mm Fullfield II Ballistic Plex Rifle Scope scope is a great value. It has very clear glass and no issues with holding zero. I decided this scope because it has a generous eye relief range. Most other scopes in this price didn't have a range. I.E. Redfield revolution.
