So if one were to grab one of these, just because one feels the need for it, and as they become more mainstream ammo keeps dropping.....what would you scope it with?

Shooting as long as I could with it, so that got me thinking the 5-20ss would be a solid option, anything else that comes to mind under 1k?

Thanks in advance

All right...no thoughts so far, I will share mine....

Thinking two things right now,

Weaver 3-15x50 EMDR...mil/mil, might throw it on a 308 without a scope and see how it goes, if it could graduate but have my doubts about magnification at the ranges I would like to go.

Other thought is the Nightforce 5.5x22x50 or 56.  Either of these seem like they would allow me to push out further, and be a lifetime scope.  Realize this is more then the SS 5-20, but for as close as they are in price would push it.  Have a lead on a new 5.5-22x56 local that could get for 1450 out of a guys safe, but moa adjustments, not huge.

700 vs 1850 is a difference in cash....

Maybe this will jumpstart some discussion.

I would go with the NF for $1450. That is a good price for a 5.5-22x56. I have a number of NF scopes and I am very pleased with them. The MOA adjustments are what I have on all of mine. NF scopes around here are like Leupold, it is either a love it or hate it.
