Don't get me wrong I will never give up my Gillette fatboy or any of my other DE razors but this monstrous SE is in a class by itself.Proceed with caution though these Feather Pro blades will bite you if your not paying attention. It gets a little tough with the extra folds on the face but nothing that can't be mastered with a little patients.

I just slick shaved my beard off this morning, then went and got a "high and tight" at the local barber shop.
#2 on top and skin the sides.

I can't use the feathers,  Best shave for me is the Wilkerson Sword blades with my DE razor.

Graham, what I always do with the Feathers is to cork them before I use them,I feel that helps a lot with the smoothness & glide!

For those of you who don't know what corking is ,this is a simple explination.I take the blade out of the sheet, now with the blade between the thumb & index finger go slow & be very careful I pull the blade through a piece of cork or styrafoan[they both work equally well] do this on each side..If you were to look at the blades edge before you cork & after under a microscope you'll see the edge was stropped using the corking. Its strange but I find  the shave smoother even though the blade is sharperLoco

I will be trying the corking on my next change of the Single edge Feather Pro's.............

I finally settled on Feathers all around.I use them on all my DE razors & the Feather Pro's on my SE King Cobra.Sharks are a great blade & so are Polsilver, problem is I only get 1 shave & then they get thrown away.I get 4 shaves with the DE Feathers & 7 with the Feather Pro.
