I need a suggestion for the optimum Scope for Sheep hunting.
My rife is a Custom Kimber 84M chambered in 260WSM (6.5/300 WSM Wildcat). The Rifle has a 26" barrel. I want a scope that can take full advantage of the Rifles Ballistic capability in Sheep Hunting Conditions and environments. So it has to be a Hunting Scope not a huge Target scope.

Thanks for your input

I'm assuming you want to keep it reasonably light in weight, but you're probably going to have to offer a little more info to get very good feedback.  Price range?  Anticipated shooting distance?  Prefer twisting turrets or using a reticle for holdovers?  SFP or FFP?

In the $1k price range, I've got and use the Leica ER 3.5-14 (IBS reticle) for packing and hunting and think it would be a great fit for sheep hunting if you like SFP.  If FFP is more your style, in the similar $$ range I'd be tempted to try one of Bushnell's new LRHS scopes (3-12 or 4.5-18).  I don't own the latter (... yet, but it's probably my next scope purchase...)  Either scope gives you the option to hold for elevation using the reticle, or dial for distance using the turret, and would probably work well for what you want to do.
