I dont think you could go wrong with the 3-12x56 the 2.5-10x42 probably should have been a 50mm objective rather than a 42mm objective for brighter low light use. Steiner makes very high quality optics that are quite sturdy. I dont have one of these but I would love to own the 3-12x56 model I'd give it a and the rebate is a nice incentive. The 4-16x50 is a power range that I really like the best and it would probably be my first choice withthe 3-12x56 my second choice, but if you do coyotes in low light the 3-12x56 would be awesome.

You may not get a lot of info the scopes have not been around very long but their military binoculars are very rugged great binoculars.

I have the 4-16x50 and it is built like a tank. The adjustment knobs are crisp. Glass wise, it is a notch up on the 3-9x40 Conquest. I am not sure on the HD5. The contrast and resolution allows me to take shots in any light and cover I shoot in. I can easily see small branches next to deer at 200 yards.
