Hey Guys,  looking at getting one of these scopes for a dedicated Prairie Dog gun.  I use the gun at ranges from 100-500 yds.  My first concern is the mil-dots and crosshairs look awful big in the pics.  Are they?  The second concern is the objective adjustment.  All the scopes i've used have this on the front or side.  This scope appears to have it on the back.  Is that true?  If anybody have experience with this scope, please chime in.  Thanks

I have the SS 20X on my groundhog rifle. The dots are fairly large but don't obscure those (larger) rodents. However it may be an issue with smaller varmints @ long ranges - sorry I can't help you there. The rear "focus" is way too cool; a bit coarse in adjustment, but it's not hard to develop a fine touch tuning it, and you can use either hand to do so (unlike side focus.) My biggest beef with the SS is the amount of "whiteout" in even moderate sun; buy extra sunshades if you do get that scope.

Forgot to mention how closely that SS 20X will focus down to. Although you probably won't need to go to 30 feet or so, it's nice to know you can; to me that pretty-much negates the need for variable power.
