Graham got me stirred up with his yote hunting this morning. I started circling the sections close to the house on my bike. It didn't take long until I spotted a pair playing in a field. Rode back to the house an grabbed the .22mag. Rode back to where I was confident they would slip from the field on the way back to where they bed during the day. I was glassing the draws with my Razor 8X42's when I saw one of the coyotes heading my way. At 117 yards I let go on him. He jumped straight up and twisted . Then started away. Fired a second shot and he dropped about 50 yards from the first shot. Used was Cooper LTV, topped with a Nikon Monarch 2-10X42, Leica Rangemaster 1200 rangefinder and Vortex Razor 8X42 Binoculars. All of the Optics are from SWFA Thank you SWFA for a fun afternoon.

Great story, but who is that old bearded guy in the picture taking credit for your successful coyote hunt?

So did you shoot it while riding the bike?

Nice job.  Excellent

No but it was a site riding the bike with a rifle over my shoulder. Then the third trip with the coyote tied to the handlebar. Made it hard to steer. Good thing only had to go 3/4 of a mile. Luckly never met a car.
