I recently sent back a Swarovski  2.5-10X56mm PH scope after it had turned yellow and hazy. They changed out one of the lenses and sent it back to me in short order. Optically it was repaired but now there were some tool marks and/or blemishes in the main tube and bell. I promptly sent them an e-mail explaining the situation and told them I couldn't say whether or not this damaged occured when the scope was repaired, or if it happened during the return shipping. Within 2 days I received an e-mail from SONA with a new Service Order number and a brief explanation stating that they didn't care how the scope got damaged and that they would be glad to make it like new again. And this is just what they did. Turnaround time was less than 2 weeks and there was no charge. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Now how much was Julia Roberts going to charge for that first night in the movie Pretty Woman.   ---   for what a Swarovski costs they could have had hookers deliver it to your door.

If I purchase a Leupold 3.5-10X40 Mark 4 LR/T 30mm, can I expect Leupold  have my scope repair job delivered by hookers too?

The one time I tested Swaro CS, I received this added perk.  Are there some who didn't?

Never used any lens cleaner on it. The lens that was changed was an internal one. And no, there were no extra carricular activities offered. We have a saying at work about GE turbines, "You can buy better but you can't pay more". I never felt this way about the Swarovski.

I already posted part of this story a couple of days ago on another thread... I sent an old 15+ year old 8x30 SLC bino back for inspection/pm. SONA said they were going to upgrade the lenses for free.

When the hookers finally left today, Wink , I opened the box and found what looked like a new set of bino's. SONA replaced the lenses, eye cups, the exterior housing, etc. The entire process took exactly two weeks from the time I shipped them from California to Rhode Island, repair, and back to me. That's as good if not better than any turn around time I've received from Leupold based in Oregon. Don't get me wrong Leupold is excellent too and has great technical support. What Swarovski did though guaranteed another sale or two out of me some time very soon.

Top rate products should go hand in hand with top rate service. Seems like this was indeed the case here.

Since the started the  smiling hooker Cs service, things have gotten strange over there.I called the other day to ask a simple question but now I have hearing aids and a light ear infection. So be careful. the CS department is still top notch......

Thus far I have had no reason to send my Swaro in or test their CS; however, with the optics alone, I am still more than happy to have ponied up the $$ to enjoy the scope.
