I notice some of the SWFA SS 5-20 scopes have the logo on the outside of the illumination dial and some don't. What's the difference if the is one?

one is illuminated the other isn't

one is blacked out

Okay that's what I was thinking. A guy has one that's blacked out and it's listed as illuminated. I just wasn't sure if it was a early production model or something? So, logo illuminated and blacked out non- illuminated. Thanks man.

Both illuminated and non illuminated on the SWFA website show the logo.

I think it was early production that did not have the logo, but I do not remember for sure.

If memory serves me correctly, the non illuminated scopes were rolled out around Black Friday of 2011.  With this intial roll out, there was a limited run that came with the blacked out cap.  After these were sold out, then all illuminated and non illuminated models came with a cap that had the logo.

Yep, the black friday ones did not have the logo.
