I got my SS 20x mounted and ready to go. What are the additional numbers for on the elevation turrets? Above the 1 MRAD it has a 6 and the only thing I can figure is that it's 6 MRAD after a full revolution?

If so, what is the purpose?

I'm new to this so need some help

NO, the turret is marked for 5 mils per rev. so you zero at 100 yards, the numbered lines are 1 mil, so on the turn up after you go past zero would be 6 mils.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

I put a decimal in there when I shouldn't have (I know each click is a tenth ) which I corrected.

Why have the additional numbers on top?   Hopefully others know 5 mils per revolution (along with a rev indicator) and 15 at 3 revolutions and so on.

It just takes a little bit of stress out of the picture if you happen to be in a hurry. With 5 mils per turn, most rifles are going to be into the second turn after 7 or 800 yards. Some even before that.

If you plan on "dialing" a lot of elevation, I would suggest look over on Sniper's Hide under the rifle scopes forum, for the thread titled SS zero-stops. They sell a shim-kit to build your own zero-stop for that scope. It is pretty affordable, and has the blessings of SWFA.

I seen his youtube video and made contact with him about the zero stops.

I have to order a picatinny rail so I can get proper eye relief too :)

Thanks for the replies
