Sure.  I have a lot to learn about optics and such, so I'll be hanging around.  Bandito

I had a couple coworkers take a look at the scope.  One is a guy that does a lot of work with Vortex and another has more experience than I do when it comes to this type of thing.  He actually owns the same scope, but has never used it himself.  Neither thought the illumination of my scope was right.

One speculated that inside the scope the lens that reflects the light is behind the lens that has the reticle, and they are supposed to be in line with each other but there is a misalignment.

So, the scope is on the brown truck back to Texas.

Welcome to the OT  VV! One of the best things about owning a SS scope, they carry the best CS in the business, they  go way out of the way to accommodate customers.I'm not going to mention names but about 6 yrs ago a certain person on our sight ran over his SS scope with his truck & Chris & company even took good care of him........

Thanks for the welcome!  The lifetime warranty is one of the order qualifiers that had me interested in SWFA.  I'd bought a gaggle of Aimpoint H1s from SWFA in the past, but this is my first time trying their own label.  Other than Skylar and now Stephanie, I didn't know the names of the folks there, but Chris commented on my Youtube video which was about an issue with the battery cap.  That's cool to be able to get such prompt and personal feedback.

So far my impression of their CS is that they are top notch.  That being said I hope I end up with some good scopes that won't need to invoke their CS because that would be even better.

I'm not sure if this vid will post correctly.  I don't see a way to edit my post after the fact so here goes nothing.

I have been looking at these scopes. I currently own a IOR 3.5-18 and a IOR 12-52x56. I love the floating dot on the MP-8. don't know if I could get use to anything else.

How do you like the 12-52?  Truly almost a telescope.  I've not seen that version of the IOR, but have often wondered about its performance.

I love it. Like all scopes you use all of it in the summer, but in the cooler months you can use it all. Two weeks ago I shot it out to 430yds on 52X. The group measured sub .5".

here is a pic of the target.

Here is a pic of the rifle with scope.
