I am looking for a Tasco TR rifle scope(s) that were made in Japan.
These TR scopes came with a set of interchangeable BDC cams.

I would like to find one in a 4 x 16 x 40 and/or possibly a 6 x 24 x 40.

Does anyone  have any ideas?

Thanks

I would try e-bay, .264 man.  I see those scopes quite regularly for sale--at least one of them every week. Some of them have all the little dials and others only seem to have the one that is in the turret. I have seen some of them in practically mint condition with box and paperwork and everything.

When I cruise around on e-bay I ask their search function to search for all kinds of different NOUNS or Numerals when looking for "...scopes". Some folks don't seem to categorize their items very logically. I generally stay in ALL CATEGORIES and then I ask for "Tasco scopes". Next I ask for "  4   12   scopes"  and see what pops up.  Or I will ask for " AO  scopes" and I will see what pops up on that one. Everyday I check "vintage scopes" because lots of people put things on e-bay that way because they don't know what brand of scope it is! I also ask for "Japan scopes" for those people who have included that word in their description title.  You can go on forever just asking for "BUZZWORD scopes" and you will be surprised with what jumps up!        Embarrased

HEY .264 Man!! I just found one on e-bay!  A 6 X 24 X 40 AO with target turrets and the range estimating feature!! It's got 4 days left to run and it's up to $76 right now. I found it in "Tasco scopes". There may be more--I hadn't finished looking at the entire category yet.

.264man. I have a Tasco on my 264win mag, even though its not made in Japan I would say away from them. I have nothing but problems. Changing point of impact on different powers. Very fustrating. I am now getting a Leupold. Look around do some research. If you have a 264 then get a good scope for a GREAT caliber. good luck.

Just for your information, I have 4 of these 6 x 24 Tasco BDC scopes and I would not sell them for love nor money.

IMHO, there is not a better scope for varmint hunting !!!

Thanks.
