Hey, Ric!

I heard Muschamp threw his resignation papers on Foley's desk, but true to form, it was returned for a TD.

Spurrier?? Nah.

He's said multiple times that SC is his last dance. Would be nice though. I'd love to see that guy throwing his Florida visor and clip board on the Gator sideline once again. Excellent

I have zero probability that Steve returns to Gator land.

Mark, U sure the Chimp didn't have JD fumble the papers onto JF's desk... he is the best man for the job ya know! Loco

The speculation is rampant. It runs from Mack Brown to Harbaugh to Venebles to Charlie Strong to Dan Mullen to Bronco Mendenhall... Personally, I think Bronco may just be the bugs nuts. We'll see.

Looks like the Gators lost a 4 star LB to Ohio State. Jerome Baker. Probably the first of many. Florida really needs to stop the bleeding and unload Muschamp NOW, Ric. IMHO, of course.

Concur 100% Mark. Foley is just as stubborn as the Chimp. Folks around here are so P.O.'d they are really over the whole "Chimp" OJT experiment.

I don't think Foley can keep him around if...I mean WHEN....Georgia gets done slapping them around.

I'm afraid we will see another Bama / Mizzou type beatdown from the Dawgs. BTW, the Chimp announced yesterday that Harris will be the starter. DUH Seems a little too late ... wouldn't you agree?

I saw that too. Harris gives them their best chance for sure, but I also saw that Muschamp said Driskel will still be involved somehow, but didn't elaborate.
Whatevs....

I know Will and Jeff did their level best to help the team win. I'm moving on and looking forward to brighter days.

As an aside. Texas Longhorns to start paying players??

I saw that. If that happens, imagine the slippery slope THAT will create in the world of college football! Then all other major schools will have to follow suit to compete, and it becomes a corrupt free-for-all! At least now, all the corruption is hidden under the table where it belongs!

That pizzes me off royally! Given what it costs to send a kid to a major university these days, their paid scholarship IS their payment. And, if they're a good athlete, they will be making many times what most other students in any other career choice does upon graduation, precisely BECAUSE they got the exposure their college career provided!

Speaking of paying college athletes, I read a funny comment the other day that someone made about former SMU and HOF Rams/Colts/Raiders/Falcons RB Eric Dickerson:
"He took a serious pay cut when he left SMU for the NFL"

The NFL is trying their damnedest to lose me as a fan, and almost succeeding. It appears college football is attempting to follow their lead.
