I keep one in my truck with two hi-caps. If 26 rounds of .45 won't do it then most likely nothing would. I have shot with it at two three gun competitions and it worked great. The .45 knocks over the heavy steel with one shot and the 21 holds lots of 'em. Only complaint is the obvious size and weight. I bought a 37 in .45 GAP and can shoot more accurately with it because it fits my hand much better...only down side is less capacity (10 vs. 13). The GAP seems to hit as hard as the ACP on steel. Once I find some +2s for my 37 mags I might sell my 21. |

Thanks, Chris.
I need to spend some quality time with a G21. Let me know if and when you decide to sell yours. I might be interested in buying or trading some gear for it. |

Saw something cool on an old Glock 17 the other day. The guy had taken the receiver in to Line X (a spray on truck bed liner place) had the front and rear of his grip coated. It was stuck on like a rock and didnt really make the grip that much larger. It made the grip a lot easier to hold on to. Just thought I'd pass along a cool idea.

That's a good idea. Check this one out too. Pre-cut and everything, skate board grip material.

Thanks for that link, Mithran.
That Gen. 3 G17 with the OD green frame is cool!

I just upgraded my old Glock 19 to the new frame in OD green. I'm keeping the original frame to add an Advantage Arms .22 kit on to it to make it a dedicated .22 plinker. I had the choice when I went into civillian law enforcement between the Glock 21 and the SW .45, and I went with the SW only because I couldn't quickly draw the Glock without juggling it due to the girth of the grip. I've shot them extensively (other folks guns) and have no problems as they tend to be damn accurate. Robar shaves the frames down very nicely, I had my Glock 22 done and it was sweet. If I was going to buy a .45 however, I'd lean towards the GAP.
