 Anybody using IMR 4007 SSC?
 I'm thinking about it for 22-250, 220 swift & maybe 300 wsm.
I haven't seen it around here in to many places yet .
 Just wondering. Thanks

i asked that question months ago and got no response
r-19 worked really well for me in my 300wsm and h-380 is my old standby for the other two you mentioned, but it looks like a neat powder i wish they would publish more data for more chamberings for this powder
They call me "Boots"
.375H&H, cause a .376 steyr would be blatant overkill!

Looks like a real winner in the 308 family and might be one of the new most accurate powders in the 22-250. Hodgedon is trying to bring the IMR line out of the dark ages. Some new formulations would put some new life in the reloading game....

OLRVRAT...........................From what I understand, this powder is suppose to work extremely well for the 300 WSM`s. Comparable velocities using slower burners, can be achieved using about 10 grains less per round with the 4007SSC!!! The burn rate for the 4007 is between IMR4320 and 4350................I ran across this awhile back! Go to the Nosler web site forum. Under the "reloading section" click on page 6. Then scroll down to the topic "IMR 4007" started by "quitgary"....Then scroll down to steve4102`s post. Click on that link....................That will take you to another forum where you can read a shooters "Sam Spade`s" comments after using the 4007 in his 300 WSM. As he was working up the charge levels for his loads, ALL his groups in each level were extremely tight!! In each group, ALL the bullet holes were touching each other at 100 yards! He stopped at a 60 gr. charge, but indicated that there were no pressure problems at that level..........My dealer has no 4007 now, but that is going to be my next powder to try for my 300 WSM compact!! Should burn more efficiently in my 16.5" barrel..........
