I just bought a 2.5 - 12 x 42 accupoint. I haven't mounted it yet but I'm really impressed with it. It beats out my VXR in low light by a long shot. Day time I'd put the glass just below my meopta meopro for color amd contrast. I think the resolution is pretty close but things pop a little better with the meopta. The illumination system is awesome. There is some difference between the newer styles of the accupoint so i dont know how the older models are glass wise. I will also say the eye relief is really nice and really forgiving.

I like them but I have had issues with a couple of the 5-20 green mildot version. I really like the red post 1-4 that I have. Would love to have the 2.5-12x42.

Have a 5-20X50 w/ Amber BAC and a 4-16X50 MOA Dot, both are excellent optics for the money. I'm not shooting 1K with the 5-20 but, ringing the steel at 500 is child's play which is the longest I have at my range on the hunt club. The 4-16X50 sits on top of my Sako 85 Finnlight .300WM, it is a great setup for the area and conditions I hunt. Well, the .300WM may be a bit overkill for the deer but shooting pigs with it is always fun.

One thing to watch depending on how far you shoot is how much internal adjustment the scope has because the 5-20 does not have enough adjustment for long range. Knowing how you intend to use it might help.

This is good information. I started shooting again and cannot believe the number of new and new to me scope manufactures there are. I am also finding that some I considered decent now are lower quality optics as costs have been cut. I will try to get my hands on a 5-20.

Not new to forum. Couldn't retrieve password. Trijicon has used Meopta glass in their Accupoints now for about 2yr.This from Trijicon. You can call them with your serial # and they will tell you if your model has Czech glass or Japanese. I ordered one of the Czech glass Accupoints and I am very impressed !
