Trijicon TriPower

The good news is that interest in the TriPower Tactical Scope remains high as evidenced by the many attendees at SHOT Show 2005 who came to the Trijicon display specifically to see the TriPower. The better news is that Trijicon is undertaking a design change to improve the TriPower. They anticipate a re-launch of the product later this year. Their engineers are working hard to create a stronger all-aluminum body and a sleeker scope. The best news will come when they actually have TriPower tactical scopes available for sale. Our plans are to fill existing orders for the TriPower in the order in which they were recieved.

We'll keep you posted on further developments.

This is not a rhetorical question or intended to start a war, but why would you want the Ttri-power over an Eotech or Aimpoint?

Trijicon is a great manufacture and the ACOG is the best thing they have ever come up with.  I love the EoTech and it's one of my favorite sights.  Remember though the EoTech and Aimpoints are battery powered and even though they have great battery life, batteries can fail.  My first pick for an AR sight would be the ACOG and second Trijicon's 1x24 SF reflex sight.  No batteries to fail at the wrong time.

Stupid question, but tri power means it has three seperate power sources. The reticle is powered by battery, fiber optic, and tritium right?

Battery, tritium and chem light.  Tritium doesn't work well without some light, so you have the battery.  If the battery fails stick a chem light or glow stick in.
